What are Corbels?
Kitchen cabinet corbels are brackets that project from a wall, cabinet, island, or other surface and are typically used underneath countertops, shelves, or overhangs. Originally, corbels served a structural purpose - actually bearing weight - but in many modern kitchens they are primarily decorative, adding visual interest and a sense of craftsmanship to cabinetry, though they may still provide structural support depending on the application. Before ordering, check whether your installation requires additional structural support.
